Time to explore
Workshops, retreats and professional seminars offer an opportunity to explore yoga more deeply through practice, theory and direct experience. From a first encounter with Yin Yoga to advanced training in functional anatomy, the meridian system and yoga philosophy, each programme creates space for new knowledge, questions and exploration.
Programmes take place throughout Croatia and the surrounding region and are intended for yoga practitioners, teachers and anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of the body, movement and different yoga traditions.
Themed workshops
Workshops include an introduction to Yin Yoga as well as more advanced topics focusing on a functional approach to practice, individual anatomy, skeletal variation, meridians and the five-element theory of traditional Chinese medicine.
Dragon Dance workshops hold a special place, bringing together dynamic Vinyasa Yoga, creativity in movement and functional anatomy.
Programmes also include the study of chakra theory and yoga philosophy, together with its practical application in everyday life and yoga practice.
Workshops are tailored to participants’ experience, from introductory sessions to specialised seminars for yoga teachers wishing to broaden their knowledge and develop their teaching.
Retreats
Retreats offer the opportunity to devote time to particular areas of yoga during a stay of several days, with shared practice, lectures and conversations.
Programmes bring together Yin Yoga, Dragon Dance, meditation, philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine. Alongside practical work, studying theoretical foundations, exchanging experiences and time for independent exploration are important parts of each retreat.
Each retreat is shaped around a particular theme, with content and intensity adapted to its character and the participants’ experience.
Kosmaj retreat ⟶Guest lectures and collaboration with yoga schools
Alongside his own workshops and retreats, Andrija Bosanac-Schroetter contributes as a guest lecturer to yoga teacher training programmes throughout the region. His teaching experience also includes international educational collaborations, in-person teaching and online lectures.
Specialised lectures cover functional anatomy and skeletal variation according to Paul Grilley’s approach, individual anatomical differences, meridians through yoga, Yin Yoga and Dragon Dance.
Yoga studios and schools can arrange dedicated professional lectures, one-day and multi-day workshops, or teaching units incorporated into existing Teacher Training programmes.
Collaboration is open to yoga studios, schools and training organisers in Croatia, the region and abroad.
